Hold your Nerve

It’s hard not to have a little panic with all the crap going on in the world right now. Many of us are nervous AF about spending money. But we are the ones who have to save ourselves. Our fucking governments have made it clear time and time again, that they only care for the few.

So what can we do?

First of all, do you have a clear picture of what’s going on in your business right now? Find a spot where you can have some peace for a couple of hours and take a look at your numbers.

• How much stock are you sitting on? What’s the total retail value?

• How much would you generate if you sell 70% of that stock? How about 60%? 50%

• How do those numbers tally with your monthly cash flow over the next few months?

• Are things looking better than you thought? Great. If not, then what’s the next move? Pricing? do you have outstanding invoices that need to be collected?

• Are you actively selling? Are you showing up in your newsletters? On social media if you use it, are you doing any shows? Are you telling people? DO IT. Keep doing it as consistently as possible until it’s time for your break.

It’s not necessarily all the crap going on that’s hurting your business but, your inconsistency, trust me I know.

Because I haven’t been consistently showing up for you either. I fully understand why and I am working through that because what I want to do in supporting you is far too important. We need more good people like you, earning really good money.
