A artist studio backdrop shot

For as long as I could remember, I have always wanted to work for myself. I think it stems from the constant barrage of people trying to fit me into a box,or punish me for not being their idea of the ‘right person from such a young age. Society, so-called friends and even some family who believe they are coming from a place of love.

I spent 15 years as a milliner, producing collections that sold in Selfridges and Independent Boutiques. I also did production work for Fashion designers as well as private teaching and a Bespoke service. I closed my studio at the end of 2015 because my heart was not in it anymore. My priorities changed and I needed to take time off to reflect, be proud of what i achieved, learn from my failings and decide my next move.

The Realness in Business is my move. I am going to work with people who are open to learning about the business side of their designer making and help them create a plan and bring it to fruition. I know, there are a ton of courses out there that do the same thing and you know what?

Good luck to them….I mean it! They have their clients and I have mine, there is room for my brand of business realism and I’m ready to take my seat at the Table…and I know I can help you get your seat too if you make the leap and work with me. My Blog is going to be your door into my entrepreneurial journey with advice, inspiration and learning to help you start your journey.

It is not a fairy tale, it’s life and I’m going to be real with you about what the journey entails and how it disrupt your life in the best way.

Join me and see how the struggle is real….but success can be too.

You’ll see for yourself!
